Each year, EFL Young Ambassadors invites high school students to apply for the opportunity to join EFL conference days and learn from leading investors, business experts, startup founders, and NYU scientists. While EFL mainly operates as a startup mentorship program for Life Sciences, Deep Tech, Digital Health and Digital Tech startups, we are on a mission to create an inclusive and educational space for high school students interested in science, technology, and entrepreneurship! To be selected, students should demonstrate curiosity and ambition as well as describe any extracurricular activities, including classes, clubs, volunteer work or personal projects/hobbies, that relate to their interest.

World Science Scholars

ScriptCrew 100% D3 The Junior World Science Scholars program is a free, mostly asynchronous, online summer program designed for highly gifted students between the ages of 7 and 11 who are passionate about science and are enthusiastic to learn more. The six-week program will take place from June 26 through August 4, 2023 and will consist of an interactive, self-paced course taught by world-renowned scientist, Brian Greene, that introduces students to the wonders of Einstein’s theory of general relativity. Throughout the program, students will be mentored by World Science Festival staff and alumni of the highly selective World Science Scholars program. The program will culminate in a live Zoom session with Dr. Greene, in which Junior Scholars can ask questions about the course material. Code4NYC is a student-led, free, virtual program offered to students in grades 6th through 8th. Students in this program will learn the foundations of the Python programming language, and is for beginners only.
